I dono if I've ever seen anything like this Eric Church set. Headlining Stagecoach with an acoustic guitar, 20 person choir, piano player and occasional horn accompaniment.
Over an hour in, Hasn't addressed the crowd, played 40 minutes of gospel songs, two random Eric church songs, some Neil Diamond and Loggins & Messin covera, and now just went from a "Gin and Juice" cover to "California Love" cover
I truly can not imagine what the vibe is amongst the suburnt blackout drunk freaks rn

I only made it about 4 songs in before falling asleep, but as someone who is fully on board with the only semi-ironic reclamation and reassessment of Nickelback, even to the point of re-listening to their music and finding a fair amount to enjoy, was really stunned how bad they were live.
Kroger has un-yarl'd his voice alot on record but its basically non existent live which makes his voice just....plain. the rest of the band are medium talent average looking Canadian dads, which only aesthetically matters because it just makes the already unsexy aesthetic of Nickelback almost punishing. All of the songs I saw them play were from 'All The Right Reasons' but they all sounded 3pm at rifest loose which is insane because they've been playing these songs at sheds for 20 years.
Kroger talked after every song, mostly to shout out his good friend who was playing guitar (he did this at least 3 times) and had called out the t-shirt cannons by song 2. Would love to see them live.

I could see where a webcast would do them little to no justice including the unforgiving mix, but can confirm Nickelback is a bitchin’ live show as long as you know what you’re walking into

I should’ve gone out to LA for this Kendrick show. I’m saying that and Kendrick hasn’t even gone on yet.

I should’ve gone out to LA for this Kendrick show. I’m saying that and Kendrick hasn’t even gone on yet. I made us come back to Chicago for work obligations on Sunday and I have not heard the end of it from my wife for the last couple hours. Wish I had never seen that it was streaming.
