Apparently the new Liars album is coming August 25th, and it's called Theme From Crying Fountain. According to someone on HIL so take that for what it's worth.

I'm okay with it too, just surprised it hasn't. reviews are mostly positive of it too. Haven't read a review yet that says its awful, just that it's what you'd expect from them, and much better than Tarantula. |

Admittedly outside of a few songs I've only heard the early EPs and first two albums, although I've listened to this who knows how many times... a lot. The others just didn't seem to be things the band stood by so I figured I'd ignore them.

The others just didn't seem to be things the band stood by so I figured I'd ignore them. Yeah you're not missing anything with Carnival of Light at all, its their worst. Tarantula has a few good songs on it, namely Black Night Crash and Deep Inside My Pocket. But you've got the right idea, Nowhere and GBA, plus their early EPs. Smile I think compiles all of them. |

Yeah, Smile is what I have. Black Night Crash is a fantastic song, even if it's more a straight-forward rocker.

that fresh and onlys song was awesome, nice surprise since i kind of forgot about them. the rostam track is sweet too. weird that his best single (gravity don't pull me) is like the only one not on the album but oh well.

idk I actually really enjoyed some of the singles off of Battle Born.
Wasn't expecting them to go with a dance-y vibe like Arcade Fire but do it even more poorly
