I went back and tried one of the gin pickles to remember what I didn't like about it and sure enough it verged on sweetpickle. Ugh.
The most important pickle qualities are:
1. Crunch
2. Sour
3. Garlicky
4. Texture (cannot be grainy/mealy)
5. Dilly

interesting, i would put sour at the bottom of my list.
now i want to eat pickled cucumbers and my other favorite pickled things, mushrooms and okra.
edit: i would say salt level is an important characteristic.

I think crunch and texture are definitely important, but I'm open to a wide spectrum of flavors.

Sour over salt for me.
My friend Matt makes the most incredible spicy pickled okra, there is a jar of it at the back of my fridge waiting to be dug out.
Hmmm I may have to revise my list accordingly.

Holy hell I got some of the standard dill Grillo pickles and I don’t want to eat anything else the rest of my life. Crisp as fuck

If you have ever gone to Wendy's and gotten a Frosty and dipped your fries in it, you would probably like this.  And even if you didn't do that, you would still probably like it because it's delicious. |

Anyone have any strong opinions on Oreos? Regular? Double Stuf? Those Golden vanilla ones that are Oreo in name only? Limeade (if so, what's wrong with you?)? I got these Birthday Cake ones at the store the other day, and it's too bad that it's 140 calories for two of them.  |

I used to love putting about a 1000 calories of regular Double Stufs in a bowl with milk and eating it like cereal. Can't do that anymore, though.

I thought they were just ok, probably not something I’d purchase again. They taste pretty much exactly like the chicken and waffles flavor from a couple years ago except they’re spicy

They're awesome. The Pieces bring a really nice texture to the candy. I've never tried them as miniatures, but maybe I'll try those once these two big bags are gone.

I was going to buy a bag of Take 5 for myself, but there was probably like 10 of them in the bag I found. Wasn't worth it.
