I am listening to all of the Pitchfork best of 70s list mostly to fill in blank spots (i.e. not I am a huge king crimson fan) but I may re-rank that 100 we will see.

been getting a fuckload of writing done. almost finished one or two big projects i've been working on for a few years and started another 3 or 4 that may go nowhere lol but it's nice to have something to focus on. also been trying to record guitar and piano stuff. also also made a short film on my phone that i'm trying to learn how to edit on davinci resolve, so that's been fun!
honestly haven't gotten to do as much reading (finished House of Leaves and halfway through Blatty's Legion) or gaming like i originally planned. binge watching is going slower than expected too.

Most of my accomplishments are cooking related, but I've also read a little bit. Ash keeps making me read things, so now we're going through a series she loved as a kid and it's pretty good!

I've been trying my hand at baking, and it's gone pretty well so far! I've made something almost every day - usually focusing on a small batch of the same thing (i.e. bagels) every day of the week until I feel like I've nailed it.
So far I've done: 1. Bagels 2. Biscuits (buttermilk and cheddar-bay) 3. Scones (cranberry, blueberry, and cinnamon chip) 4. Banana Bread 5. Cake Donuts (no yeast) with vanilla and chocolate glaze 6. Soft pretzels
Today I'm trying biscotti!
Otherwise, most of my time has been spent on schoolwork, crossword solving, and listening to Dead shows. About to get my first month-long NYT crossword streak tho!

Not many projects completed but per my Untapped I've drank 50 different beers, most of them stouts, since the start of quarantine. Oh and I've done deep dives on a lot of artists that I just never took the time for before like the Magnetic Fields and Lambchop. If rango420 is suggesting we do a 70s album board list, I'm for it. edit: oh I've done a lot of cooking too. Made coconut shrimp w/ an apricot chili sauce and it was great.

there is one calendar day between march 15 and august 28 when i haven't been to a show. so i've been recalling some shows on their anniversaries. it's wild how many i've completely forgotten about.
i've also been trying to improve on some recipes and watch a lot of movies.

I think my favorite project is trying to figure out what to do with my hair as this drags on. At this point I'm rocking a 1987 Pat Riley - just all slicked back. It's like a Riley crossed with vintage Gordon Gecko.

My accomplishments have been staving off depression the majority of the days and watching a bunch of movies. This weekend I’m going to make my own pasta though, so I’ll be sure to return with an update on how that goes

I'm working on getting a music blog started. Already signed up via Wordpress, and registered a domain name. Am refreshing my coding skills with Codecademy.
Also playing drums again, since there's no one in the house. Working on 'Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Bulls on Parade'.

It's like a Riley crossed with vintage Gordon Gecko. I'm a month overdue for a haircut and I've just completely stopped doing anything with it. I look more like a caveman each day, eventually I'll just have MPH take the clippers with a 3 or 4 guard to it.

Just this week I received a Dogfish Head World Wide Stout from 2010, that I think is clocking in now at 20%+ abv. Gonna crack that open for my mother-in-law next weekend. I love Untapped tho. I don't have many connections on it, but it's nice to keep track of what I've had so that I don't foolishly pick up another six pack of a duds. Plus, i can check local liquor stores easily for a beer I want and save the trip.
