It's me again.
You know, when I tell you that I really don't have the time or energy to give two shits about whether or not Kamala Harris is pretty enough in her glam shot for the cover of a magazine that I will not read because it's really a very minor issue considering that terrorists have already tried to overthrow the government and are plotting to do even more damage next week not just at the nation's capitol, but at all state capitols, then please do not proceed to lecture me about what people of color go through.
You, as a white person, should never ever ever assume that you are in any position to lecture me, a non-white person, about what life is like for non-white people based on what you've read and observed. Just...no.

The only thing I heard on the news is a bunch of Vogue-aspiring models complaining that she was wearing Converse on the cover of Vogue, which I agree is stupid af. She was too "casual".

The complaining I've heard is about the lighting and how she looks washed out. Some people like the Chucks.
Like, people need to fucking stop paying attention to social media and start paying attention to actual world events. I feel like if you don't even know what's going on because you only pay attention to the news that exists in your social media feeds, then you might be one of the reasons we're even in this mess.

Just to clarify, I agree that complaining about her attire or appearance on a stupid magazine is stupid... and also I have little doubt it's racist in nature. I think she looks cool and chill, but I wouldn't really care if she didn't.
And I do not read social media feeds anymore. I hit a point where I honestly do not care to read other peoples' thoughts constantly. I'm really fucking sick of people without medical/science degrees having an opinion on such matters, and I'm really sick of my fellow whites calling me racist because I say mean things to them for being stupid/actually racist.
