I got a flat this morning  The dude at the shop mentioned Kevlar tires, do any of you use those? I used to have a more frequent issue with pinch flats but since I got a better tire pump I haven't had a flat of any type in over a year. |

I use the green slime stuff with my tires. Only had one flat in 4 years with heavy use after I started using it.

Bought a Trek FX3 yesterday. First time I've actually purchased my own bike rather than just happening across random shit throughout the years.
I'm set up for commuting but I don't know how often I'll actually do it since it'd be about an hour each way. Hopefully that Riverview Bridge project is completed soon-ish.

Sweet! I'm debating buying a new bike too. I haven't been commuting much this year due to travel and unpredictable weather but I rode today and it was so nice. It would be an hour well spent.

i hit 20,000 miles on strava last night. that's over about six years, but i'm still feeling pretty good about that milestone.
