Anyway a year or two ago I probably would've said Pinkerton but time always heals all incorrect opinions

The 'blue album' is the only album of theirs I enjoy.

Blue album was the first album that my friends hated but i loved. that was key for me searching out new music that i wasn't hearing in my social circle. but it also pushed me so far into discovering things on my own that i really limited listening to any recommendations from friends whose taste i didn't trust.

I'll be that guy. It could really go either way depending on mood, but when I think about the songs that I love the most by Weezer they are mostly on Pinkerton - The Good Life, Pink Triangle, Butterfly, Why Bother? and so on. Blue has classics front to back tho so it's a tough choice.
I think a better question is, what's the best post-Pinkerton album by Weezer? That'll bring in the International House of Hot Takes.

Fondly remembering the time that I saw Weezer with the board and when I got excited for “(If You’re Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To” Xam just told me “No”

This is a very good follow up question, but the only answer is the Green album of course

Maladroit is so underrated imo. I'd rank it above the Green album for sure.

There are 2 songs on Pinkerton better than just about anything from the Blue album
But the Blue album is better.

Blue Album is actually perfect and Pinkerton in 2020 is just kind of creepy and lame.

Just never bothered. They weren't my thing when they were big so I never bought their cds and since the advent of streaming I haven't ever been moved to go back and check them out.

You’ve probably heard 80% of the blue album one way or another over the years.
