Will Paramore on that stage be the biggest clusterfuck of the year? Paramore will have the biggest crowd of the 4 acts playing but I have a hard time imagining any of them having a tiny crowd |

i havent noticed any really huge crowds since the move to douglas park (zombie and misfits might've been the worst so far but even those were easy to navigate)
plus having paramore against prophets, mia, and andrew wk should make all 4 crowds reasonable.

Given the position of the festival entrance, it sorta looks like the Kedzie pink line stop is closer...Is there reasons beyond proximity that Riot Fest is recommending the California stop instead on the map?

anyone recall if they had wine at Riot Fest last year? Don't see a "wine bar" on the map like they had in 2014, but maybe at the general bars? I'll have Strongbow as a backup and some mixed drinks, at least, from the looks of it. I got this in an email this morning from Interscope: "I want to let you know that Interscope Records’ wine, “Electric Sky Wine” will serve as the official wine sponsor for this year’s Riot Fest. Have you ever heard of Electric Sky Wine? It is the very first and only stackable wine. It is perfect for community sharing, and creates impactful memories."
I was invited to try it out so find me and we'll drink it up   |

Kedzie is the way to go when leaving the fest for sure. We did that all three days last year with no problem.

They did a warm-up show in Cali four days before FYF, too.
So yeah, we're going off zero actual evidence, but so far they're 2/2 on venue shows around fests

they had electric sky at North Coast.
The rose was fucking horrible but the pinot grigio was fine.
they didnt have a red options and it was hella expensive

The forecast for this weekend keeps getting warmer and warmer...bleh:P It's kind of funny that it could end up warmer this weekend then both Pitchfork and Lolla iirc the same thing happened last year. i remember riot sunday last year being ridiculous hot for mid september but lolla and p4k weekend were both perfectly comfy and breezy. |
