we got old people hating on young people music, demographic breakdowns by streaming services, vague quotes from musicians who don't know how festivals work... it's almost like we're back to normal! Not until Lolla drops the full lineup and I say there's some decent stuff but not enough for me to buy a pass. Then I'll probably say I'd consider going for a day if I can find a cheap ticket but really just end up at an aftershow or two.

I would see Journey in Grant Park with the 5,000 people that will be there and thoroughly enjoy myself which is what Lolla is about imo

I could've sworn my parents went to Wrigley. Looks like a mixture of both, they played a lot of stadiums. Oh yeah I totally remember nana talking about whether or not he’d stand on the corner of waveland and sheffield for this you are right the better half even went with me, and we stood outside the firehouse on waveland for the pretenders' set and for journey's set. then we went to get wings at yakzies because I had seen def lep a bunch of yrs ago at northerly island.

Post Malone vs. Journey is one of the easiest "leave early to get a good spot for an aftershow" decisions in the history of the festival

That Post Malone NYE set was pretty great not gonna lie I saw his headlining set at 2019 Voodoo Fest. I wouldn't say it was 'pretty great' but it was better than I expected.

Just took a look at the last Journey setlist. When's the ideal time for set splitting? Catching "Lights" is def my top priority, but do I split then? Or sit through "Neal Schon Guitar Solo #2" to catch the Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' singalong? Decisions, decisions....

Didn't Journey and Def just sell out stadiums like 2-3 years ago? arenas, and they were not sold out. I think we probably did 12k-14k? But I’d be happy to check and be wrong i did finally look this up and we did 13k

Not sure I know a single person who went to the David Byrne broadway show and didn't witness at least one fight if not multiple fights break out. It got so bad that David Byrne had to begin addressing the crowd that it was ok to dance.
At the Auditorium Theater show on the Eno tour an older guy 5 rows in front of me begun yelling and then started punching a younger group of standing people before targeting the one male in the head and had to be taken out by security and then police.
