I'd put gin in any of the above and it'd be ok. Not fucking around with them, or any carbonated drink, on their own, though.

Yeah bourbon and la croix is a+ but it is so bad on its own.

Spindrift is really good but I always forget it exists. Isn't it pretty much only at Target?

idk I've only seen it at Whole Foods or maybe Trader Joe's. A friend of mine got me a case from Costco where it is apparently real cheap.
The cucumber is unfuckwithable.

I have developed a full-blown appreciation for seltzer as a result of living in Brooklyn with my Jewish wife and stepsons.
There's also a fine waffle recipe that calls for adding seltzer to the batter to create lift.

I think I've hit concert fatigue. I've been to a lot of shows this year (30?) and it's lost the magic for the moment. I need a break.

I started to feel that fatigue a little over a year ago (for the first time in nearly 10 years) and as a result, been going to much less shows and festivals this year..

Started putting together a Playtime Playlist for baby Scoots - it's been pretty fun throwing these songs together.

Why settle for a lullaby when I can let her jam to the real thing?

I came home at 8pm after being out all day and the stupid power is mostly out at my apartment. I say mostly because a couple outlets in the kitchen and the air conditioner work but nothing else does. Played around with the circuit breaker and the maintenance guy came out but no luck. He said it seems like there's a short somewhere and they'd have to come try to figure it out tomorrow. Dammit.

So you're not hot and are not in the same room as the devices that connect you to other people are probably being charged? You're living the fucking dream.

What kind of flea meds does everyone use for their pets? I have two kitties and the one time I tried to apply Frontline they licked it off each other and it was a whole thing. They're dumb. Unless there's a serious drawback I'm not reading about I think I'm gonna buy some chewable tablets

I've had good luck with Nexgard chewables (prescription stength?) for dogs. I think my vet prescribed the topical for my cat once or twice. It must have worked because she doesn't have fleas....

Thanks. Looks like all cat chewables are prescription anyway so I guess I'll have the vet tell me all about them and not some randos I know from a Lollapalooza message board.

My TV just died tonight, and the person who hit my car either isn't answering, or left a fake number.

Nope. I had to drive to work, so I couldn't wait around when I first noticed it, and then when I went into the station, they said to see if we could work it out amicably first, as I hadn't called yet. But I've called five times now, so it can actually be justified as a hit and run.
