My friend and I had to show our printed-out test results at BCN *and* to board our connecting flights…. *shrug* At this point I’m just happy I made it home before the real symptoms set in.

We were never able to successfully upload our tests online and nobody asked for them coming back. We even asked the gate agent before our US flight and were told as long as we had received boarding passes they didn’t need anything else. What the wha? My wife and I have been scrambling to take care of business when we return from England.

It was Air Canada but the flight to US was operated by United. I still have no idea what happened. Could be everything uploaded correctly and the app just didn’t reflect that. It seemed every time we used the app it behaved differently in some way.

if Khrgbigan just did instrumental covers that made up half of their set they would be a good band

They decided to make Brunch on the Beach by reservation only and announced the on-sale on instagram with no warning. Of course it immediately sold out and people are pissed.

Poble Espanol was an amazing place to see a show, glad I went, and very glad I bought that advance ticket. The wristband line to get in was at least 3 city blocks long. And there was plenty of space once I got in. Weird.
Pretty psyched for today, lots of running around today to see everyone I want to

Yeah, a lot of the ciutat shows were very poorly run. I got to this one 30 minutes before Pom Pom Squad, but I thought the long ass priority line I walked by coming in was the regular line and didn't figure out until I'd walked 15 minutes to the end of the regular line that I had fucked up. So I walked back to the beginning, got even further back in line and made it in in 40 minutes. Just unnecessarily complicated

Also, I got the email about the brunch on the beach rspv and I went through the process and it seemed to work, but I didn't have Dice installed on my phone and when I installed it the ticket wasn't there. So I guess I'm missing that too

i did manage to get into VIP pit for Gorillaz, but i didn't stay up there for Dua because the bar and bathroom situation is still a nightmare in there. They really need to go back to the previous VIP setup

Yeah this fest is pretty much as great as everyone made it out to be. Pretty much one of my favorite fest days ever. Man I did a ton of walking. My wife gave me a fitness tracker thing as an early Father's Day present, it said I almost had 20k steps.
That walk from Bits to the main stages took me 20 minutes. Yikes. Really limits what you can do with your schedule, but oh well.
And that main field was about as packed for Interpol and Gorillaz as the south field has been at it's worst at Lolla.
I thought weed was legal here, but I guess not? Barely saw any of it, but tons of nasty ass regular smokers.
Sofia Kourtesis, King Gizzard and of course Chali we're the best sets of the day. Only had to miss Dua due to the walking I mentioned.
You guys were complaining about the food options, but there were tons of good options in that center area. I had some pretty good empanadas there.
Looking forward to day 2 now

I don’t know who complained about food options, but I actually thought that was one of the more positive aspects. Great variety and little to no wait.
Sounds like they rectified a lot this weekend but heard there’s still some issues. Can anyone confirm if they were actually turning people away from Mordor at some point yesterday?

They completely blocked the entrance to BITS about a half hour before Black Coffee, so I sat around a bit but then threw in the towel, couldn't make it to Danny Harle
