Was in for Philly until I saw Bowie on the London one.

Bowie and Sade both nearly motivated me on London but there’s a ton of stuff I like on Philly

Queen, Bowie, U2, Wham! and Elvis Costello made that a super easy decision. Plus London in the 80s.

London for sure.
As long as Bowie is on the lineup, it could just be him and a bunch of jabronis named Juventud.

Voted London, but Stevie Wonder/Temptations/Hall & Oates made me think about it an extra second.

philly show is a little more solid for me, but the peak acts on the london lineup sell it.
apparently, phil collins talked to cher on the concorde as he was heading to the philly show. she did not know about live aid at all but ended up at the philly show later on.

Voted London, but Stevie Wonder/Temptations/Hall & Oates made me think about it an extra second. stevie wonder nor the temptations played. they were on the poster because geldof invited them, but both declined. that poster above is really not accurate. tom petty and madonna played in philly and aren't on there either.

Yea, I'm not missing that Queen show I hah many opportunities to see Queen in concert prior to mercury's last show in 1990 (at least 10 in Illinois, and 5 in Missouri), and I missed them all, so it would be on point for me to miss this Queen show.

Well that's a bummer. Misleading prompt, imo.

Man, I remember watching (and taping) this live on TV all damn day and wishing I could be at either location. Lots of great stuff on both lineups, but it would have been a blast to visit London.

Right? Been a minute since I saw the full lineup like that, though. Hot damn!
