I watched part of the stream yesterday.
Young the Giant - Had never heard anything by them before, thought they were bland.
Tate McRae - A better dancer than a singer (she was a So You Think You Can Dance finalist, apparently).
Limp Bizkit - Aside from Durst's wtf new look, set was kind of tedious. Too much talk. I did like the shoutouts to DMX and Biz Markie.
Post Malone - Don't fucking get it. Does he have a DJ backstage, or does he get all the headliner money? Nice work if you can get it, I guess.
Journey - Lead singer didn't sound all that great for the first few songs. We switched it off after 'Lights', did he get better as the night went on?

The lead singer got marginally better towards the very end, but he simply does not have the upper range to hit the high notes. He kept on reaching for them and failing, which made me cringe multiple times on most songs. Despite their catalog of excellent hits, I would not pay to see their show. Neal Schon can still shred, though, so good for him. |
