I know he has another album dropping soon, but I still can't imagine MGK above a sub. Feel like he leads into a legacy emo or pop punk act like Green Day or Paramore.

If we get Machine Gun Kelly, I'd rather it just be because he's guesting for Avril Lavigne since he's got a feature on her new album.
Anyways, I never would've guessed Metallica as a headliner this year. Metallica and IDLES on the same stage would be a really fun night. IDLES, Janelle Monae and Childish Gambino on the same stage a few years ago was something special, I thought.

We haven't had a full lineup leak for Lolla in quite some time, I'm not expecting one this year. Having some of the South American Lolla's take place this weekend reminded me of 2012 (I think) when someone just left the full Chicago line-up printed out somewhere near one of those fests. It was so convenient and unformatted that we were sure it was fake. At least we got a teaser/game this year. |

Remember in 2016 when we got the full schedule and everything leaked before the lineup? That was sick. It would be nice to know all the headliners at least in advance but we are at a low for leakers on this kind of thing

This is just pure speculation, the guy that does PJ's merch, just liked Lolla's last Instagram post about the PayPal promotion. Usually, he stays pretty quiet on social media unless one of his bands is involved with something (I think he also does merch for Blink 182, The Pixies, Bad Religion and a few others). He'll post, but in terms of liking particular things, he doesn't really do that unless one of the bands he designs merch for is playing. Totally just pulling this out of thin air, but it might be a hint that Pearl Jam is playing?

If 3 of the 4 headliners are Metallica, Dua Lipa, and Pearl Jam, maybe this is the year I finally cross this festival off the bucket list and no longer have to explain why I'm a regular on the message board for a festival I've never been to

My only real concern with that is these are expensive headliner names we’re throwing around here which could make the lineup too heavy
