Last minute speculative bit of optimism is that the total lack of well sourced leaks/chatter around any Pearl Jam ball park dates (which supposedly would happen in August) makes me think they aren't happening. Wrigley and Fenway in particular seem prominent enough that someone involved on the park/promo side would be hinting at them more directly.
The original rumor for Chicago in 2020 was a fall date at United Center. That entire leg of the NA tour never officially dropped, so we have to assume it was scrapped or pushed to 2023. That makes a Lolla 2022 date possible as it wouldn't really cannibalize any future sales for a stand alone Chicago show, and PJ obviously struck a deal with LN/C3 about the Euro Lollas since everything with the original tour got thrown into flux.
So it seems like the runway is cleared for a PJ appearance, which means I am definitely about to be disappointed in 15 minutes.

J. Cole is such a waste of a headliner spot. I am sure I will get over that soon, but he's probably the most boring rap act they could put in the top 4.
Metallica/Dua/Green Day is a fun 3 nights of headliners though.
