How many acts will Rango review this year? “Definitely not even half of them” would be my guess

Metallica at Lollapalooza 2022 will be interesting. Remember the 'controversy' about how their fans turned their backs on Tame Impala subbing in 2015? Idk who could sub in that spot and get a better reaction on this lineup. I guess IDLES could technically sub based on this billing, but that seems a wild overbilling. Throw a mosh pit their way and see what happens. (Royal Blood, Idles, Turnstile all seem like possibilities -- Jane's also has to play sometime) Ahhh forgot about Jane's - that prolly makes the most sense

Also, shoutout to "The Kid Laroi" for being the highest billed Lolla act that I've literally never heard of! You've heard Stay. We've all heard Stay.

There's a distinct lack of L-I-M-P right here, which I think is throwing some folks off.

I was more active on reddit at the time, but I remember lots of folks there being upset that the crowd up front was so dead/antagonistic toward Tame.

I was camping towards the front of that Metallica crowd and that all definitely happened but in the defense of the people who did that Tame Impala sucks so bad and it was a very boring show.

Tame Impala legitimately one of the most boring live bands on the planet.

There’s some cool stuff in the undercard I’d like to see at aftershows. 0% chance I will pay to go stand outside and watch any of it, though.

You won't be disappointed. I need everyone to understand how special this guy (and his band too) is Please explain this to the 18 year olds on Reddit who have no idea who this guy is or will care when they’re camping for *checks lineup* Lil Baby The big complaint on Reddit is the EDM lineup this year. Like with 4 EDM fests in Chicago I don't get why Perry's would be the draw for people to attend this festival

This talk made me go look up the ACL 2018 schedule because I couldn't remember who led into Metallica and I guess it was disturbed? I didn't see them
I have zero recollection of seeing anyone who was playing on that day besides Metallica, I think I may have just walked in sometime right before Metallica started. So I guess I did that instead of turning my back

the fall tour is in November & December... I'd pencil them in for 101.1 wkqx the nights we stole christmas or maybe a christmas themed concert by WXRT or WCHI No offense you're one of my favorite boarders but I hope this is the last time you doubt me when I bring intel from the Italian community. It will be I still think they'll be back in December at a radio Christmas festival (or will have a fall date announced after they play lolla)

He's friends with Post Malone, did a song with RMR, def out of place on this lineup but maybe he'll throw in a Metallica cover

Wonder what the Grove options will be on J Cole' day? I could have a good drunk time at a Kygo set, but I do love a Grove headliner set.

I think he'll win over some passerbys too

I haven't listened to any of this jabroni Kid Laroi's nonsense until now and I've never been more glad to be middle aged and miserable.

Wondering what the Metro shows will be? Metallica again? Charli? Green Day? Billy Strings? When it's a huge act like Metallica or GD how hard are those to get into? Like complete luck or doable if you're paying attention?

Wondering what the Metro shows will be? Metallica again? Charli? Green Day? Billy Strings? Green Day and Metallica currently have nothing else booked that weekend which would make things easier for them

This is surprisingly decent. I wasn't planning on coming up this year but if Metallica and Green Day are the Saturday and Sunday I might do the weekend.
