Surprised you aren't doing Friday for Dua There isn't much else that day that I want to see that I wouldn't rather see in a smaller venue and will have a million opportunities to do so in the future (Wet Leg, Royal Blood, RBCF, etc). Also my fiance is at a bachelorette party that weekend so what am I gonna do dance to Dua by myself like a crazy person? (Yes that's exactly what I'd do). I guess if I ever want to see her though this is probably the cheapest option and will be a party. I'd just squad up with the board and let loose. A couple of changes already Jazmine Sullivan to Thursday Big Sean to Saturday Pinkpantheress to Sunday how does this happen?? it's five hours later and they've already made changes to a schedule they've presumably been working on for weeks. is it the acts calling up asking for a different date? if so, how was that not figured out beforehand? |

Not that I usually care about Perry's stage, but who is headlining that stage on Sunday? Kid Laroi? Denzel Curry? Polo and Pan? Watch it be Doja Cat? 8/ 5/ 4/ 4 I'll still volunteer for this, probably Saturday will be the night that I have to work, or Friday. Will depend on the aftershows. Guessing now Wet Leg at the Bottle Friday night, and Charli at Metro Saturday night. It will be interesting to see how the volunteer program shakes out. There has been some upheaval (for lack of a better word) at Love Hope Strength Foundation. You can probably Google it and find some of what I'm talking about, or DM me if you care and that's easier. There is a very real possibility that the volunteer program will be considerably different this year. In recent years, some (previously) volunteer roles have become paid, hourly jobs (but without the "spend half the day at the festival for free" aspect). I'm not sure how a festival this size goes on without some level of volunteer participation, but cost cutting is a powerful incentive and it's possible that paying a wage is cheaper than giving people free access, so we'll see. |

People on Reddit pointed out that Metallica say they’re gonna have the snake pit stage setup which probably meant they had to play on Thursday so they could get it in place.

I read that too. They can also take it down after hours on Thursday so the rest of the weekend will be 'Snake-Pit' free.

They typically announce the schedule in May last year was Jun 10, 2021 2019 was May 15th 2018 was May 8th so maybe last year had me convinced that it was usually later than May after having 2 years of no live festival |
