they are playing all or most of shake your moneymaker, what's not to like? I used to think jealous again was their greatest song, but now prefer twice as hard. black crowes are one of the top five bands of the 1990s, the best decade for music.

Sophomore year of college, I played the shit out of August and Everything After, and probably annoyed everyone on my floor with it.
The Black Crows did headline the first real show I ever saw, but that's still not enough.

Went to see Black Crowes in Knoxville when I was going to UK, and despite only really knowing them for their bigger hits it was a really fun time and the crowd was one of the better ones I've seen at a live show. Just a bunch of dancing, happy folks.
Adam Duritz was standing in front of me at SXSW and he was over-the-top sweating and his wig looked disgusting up close, so this is an easy choice.

The heat was hard to handle for Adam Duritz

This was a tough choice, but I went with the Black Crowes because they actually, like, rock.

Neither are in the TK, but I like Counting Crow's music better.

Adam Duritz should not have dreadlocks but his band is generally more fun. I don't think there's all that much to the Black Crowes.

August and Everything After was such an important soundtrack to my teenage self, so that alone is worth the vote for Counting.

August and Everything After was such an important soundtrack to my teenage self, so that alone is worth the vote for Counting. This but Southern Harmony and Musical Companion and Amorica were more important so I went with the Black Crowes.

This was close as both bands are dear to my heart but I'm going Black Crowes. Chris Robinson is foxier, they probably have better stories, and I think one of the Counting Crows guys is a crazy right winger.

Look, Shake Your Moneymaker and Southern Harmony are quite solid front to back and Lions has a lot of legit GREAT tunes. So Black Crowes cannot be denied. But Counting Crows’ sad bastard songs are goddamn toit af. I’m talkin:
Round Here Sullivan Street A Murder of One* Catapult Recovering the Satellites Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby Amy Hit the Atmosphere I Wish I Was a Girl Speedway American Girls Goodnight L.A. Miami Come Around?!?
* - Bonus points for including your own band’s name in the lyrics AMIRITE
