I heard on one of the Riot Fest groups last week that DO312 confirmed they weren't getting any freebies from Riot Fest this year, so barring a late breaking change of heart I think it's not happening.
Related, if anyone is looking for a 3 day pass, I'm not going to be able to make it this year. I bought during the pre-sale, so I can cut you a good deal.

Yeah they told me they didn't have any Riot Fest tickets this year as well. I wonder if this year really did sell much better or if Riot Fest realized a bunch of people weren't buying tickets because they knew they were getting them for free. Sucks either way, oh well.

I'm looking at the secondary market and it's cheaper to buy a 3 day than a single day Sunday. Would anyone who wants to go Friday/Saturday but not Sunday want to go in on 3 day together? Or does anyone have a 3 day that doesn't plan on going Sunday?
Edit: Maybe I should wait and see what the weather looks like...

Ok, so then let's just move it to seat geek stadium and be done with it? I haven't read the article yet, but have seen people tweeting about the fines if they damage the park... Have they paid the fines? Do the other two festivals have the same clauses in their contracts? |

Also it's not really about paying the fines if your local park is inaccessible or unusable most of the summer. Those folks are getting shafted because they're too poor for anyone in charge to care what they think. There's a reason this isn't held in Lincoln Park.
