It would require Riot Fest to spend significantly more on headliners than they have in recent years. It's possible, but I think someone less expensive is more likely.

Keep in mind they've had a bigger pile of cash laying around since 2020, since they sold out days with the expectation of MCR. So they might have more to work with than usual.

Setting budget aside NIN playing Primavera LA on Saturday is what most makes me think they aren't playing this thing.

Assuming 3 since they've already announced dates.. People who already bought tickets / hotels / flights might be upset if they tack on an extra day at this point.

Avril Lavigne said in an interview recently that she's playing a few shows this year where she'll perform Let Go all the way through for the 20th anniversary, and I have a feeling that will include Riot Fest.
