I voted Not Cool but if the White Sox were playing in a playoff game I'd either force the crowd to watch it with me or cancel the show.

Cool bc an Eric Church show is somehow even less important than a Duke game

I want to also mention that while Eric Church did grow up in North Carolina, it wasn't in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area and he didn't attend either school. So lol.

So lol. he may be the only person in america who roots for a sports team that he has no direct ties to. we should definitely call that out.

i say it's not cool because a true diehard fan wouldn't schedule a concert on final four weekend.

skipping work so you can watch a basketball game is one of the least objectionable things a person could do

If he was a real fan he would have cancelled his whole tour and retired from music entirely

this reminds me of when spike lee spoke at my college. he was annoyed to be missing a knicks regular season game and mentioned it two or three times. he should've just cancelled or, you know, not booked it.
however, it ended up being worthwhile when during the Q&A one of my friends asked "Girl 6... what happened there?!?" and spike lee got big mad.
