Pretty solid Saturday of College Football
Memphis -UCLA , Florida-Tennessee and Texas- USC were great games
Clemsons defense looks scary good
Mississippi State looked great in destroying LSU
Big wins for Kentucky and Vanderbilt. SEC East looks like it's going to be a wide open race this year.

Can't believe how quickly Jeff Brohm has Purdue actually competitive. At this point, a bowl game feels likely which is insane.
Michigan in West Lafayette this Saturday will be the true barometer.

Yeah I definitely could see Purdue winning 4 or 5 games in the Big 10 which would put them into a bowl. Also wouldn't be surprised if an SEC school tries to hire Brohm next year.

At this point, I am semi-confident it'd be tough to steal a coach from the Big Ten with semi-Midwest roots. Purdue has also invested tons of money in great facilities and stadium upgrades. I think we've got Brohm for the next 4-5 years minimum even if he's extremely successful but we'll see.

35-3 is a great road win, but Missouri is a very bad team.
Also CG is the first I've heard describe that Florida/UT game as a "great game."
Cats have lost 30 straight against Florida (ugh), so hoping against the odds that they pull off a win on Saturday. There's been so many damn close calls.

Yeah, but this is a team that lost 50-7 at Maryland last year and had won 9 games total in the 4 years before this.

Heh that's fair. I probably should have said great 4th quarter. Money aside I do think Brohm would be better off staying at Purdue since the pressure to win at a school like Texas A&M is much more intense and he could have Purdue contending for a Big 10 West Division title in a a year or two.

UK had a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter and lost. Two completely botched plays set it all up, but there was a BS penalty that knocked them out of field goal range in the final seconds. Ugh.
