That Chance set was not good. Was almost on the barrier the entire time and loads of people around me agreed. Shoulda seen XX a second time

Chance was okay. He sounded good but he asks the audience to sing way too much. Like almost every other line of each song was sung by the crowd. It was very distracting and disrupted the flow of the songs.

It was very distracting and disrupted the flow of the songs. Right. On top of that I thought it was an odd selection and there was no flow to the set. He just kept gaining momentum and then killing it. |

Was also odd to me that he delayed his set by nearly 20 minutes so Chicago Fire could set up a fire hose onstage that got used once for 30 seconds.

I got to that set about 30 minutes before it was scheduled to start, got a pretty decent spot, and had a lot of fun. I think everyone set super low expectations for me on his show so I was expecting it to be really bad, but it was a fun set. Love that he brought out Francis and also Vic

Would have been nice to have at least some songs transition straight into other songs. |

Chance was by far the most underwhelming set ive seen as a Lollapalooza headliner.
Arcade Fire kicked ass last night, except fuck Chemistry. Creature Comfort is so good live.

Saw the XX instead of Chance and have no regrets. I had questions on how they would be in a headline setting, but it was wild great. I want them to do a tour where Jamie XX just remixes the first two albums.

There was a lot of fun stuff on the north side yesterday. You knew Live would get woke, but Alvvays were great and don't tell anyone but I didn't hate Highly Suspect either. When they came out with a DJ on turntables and a singer with a neck tat there were serious "nu metal revival" red flags but they played perfectly fine off-brand Kings of Leon MODERN ROCK that served as suitable background music to my Kuma burger.

Granted the experience did lead to me starting a conversation with "Somebody grabbed your dick?" And leading into "wait are you Pale Horse?" Like five minutes later when I looked at the description of yourself you put on here. I had a friend go through today and he had the same experience. Fucking ridiculous.
