It was a fun lineup but scheduling was kinda fucked, in the grand scheme of things. They booked a pretty good female undercard and then scheduled most of them at the same time or majorly overlapping, which was really frustrating

Some things never change.

I would say whatever year had Baroness, Death Grips listening/destroy the Bottom Lounge party, and Postal Service had the better aftershows.

Best Early Act - Ron Gallo Best Mid Tier Act - Alvvays / Sylvan Esso Best Headliner - Arcade Fire Best Aftershow - San Fermin @ The Bottle / Ryan Adams @ The Vic Best Food/Drink Purchase - Eating Cheesies while watching Migos from afar was a great choice Best Merch Purchase - PUP hat that I wore all fall Worst Food/Drink Purchase - it was all good Act Most Likely To Disappear - Crystal Castles, but this is cheating Act Most Likely To Blow Up - Middle Kids is gonna have a good year Most Disappointing Act - No one really Best Party of the Weekend - The 5 minutes when it slowly became clear Liam wasn't coming back Best Wake Up Call - White Reaper Best Surprise Find - MGK was about 10x more fun than I would've guessed Best Crowd - PUP Worst Crowd - The Killers Best Cover - Arcade Fire's closing medley with bits of "Karma Police" - Lorde coming out to "Running Up That Hill" was dope too Best Looking/Best Dressed - White Reaper drummer in his underwear Underrated Act - Slothrust Overrated Act - Car Seat Headrest (love him and have seen them live 4 times, but their set has gotten boring at this point) Best Crowd Banter - Ron Gallo Act Most Likely To Play Lollapalooza 2018 - Some DJ I don't care about Best Non-musical Activity - Drinking before the Royal Blood pit
