Yeah it's quite a jump especially with all the fees, and that's just Tier 1. I mean I got VIP for Primavera for cheaper than a standard GA for Coachella.

I think they deleted the actual article but it sounds like it's not necessarily headlining because it mentions doing "smaller shows" so I wonder if it'll be more of a side thing or like a special tent performance or something. It made it sound like he's specifically eschewing big headlining performances

Will there ever be a number of years that go by when the fervor for Frank Ocean eventually dies down or will be be an MCR type deal where when he finally decides to fulfill an booking obligation that his biggest fans will have way more expendable income than they did when he was making music so he'll be bigger than ever? I'm a relative old but I just don't know anyone who has cared about him for years and years outside of this board.

He’s massive still, with a huge portion of his fan base having never seen him before. Roughly one million Reddit threads popped up last week because he deleted all the photos from his instagram grid and people thought that meant he was dropping. Pretty sure he could fully sell out an arena tour too. The dude is huge still despite doing basically nothing except tease shit for half a decade at this point. I don’t know if I see that dying out anytime soon |
