regarding couchella:
are they going to stream the ENTIRE festival, all 6 stages all day? or break it up like usual, the only difference being that they're pulling from 6 stages instead of 3 while they do it?

They are making it sound like just about every set will be streamed, but we'll have to wait for the webcast schedule to be sure. I'm sure not til Thursday. They're also doing weekend 2 this year too, so if anything is missed w1, maybe it will be on there instead |

Another dude went on reddit saying "1999 Odds is Blink-182" and that it's coming tomorrow morning
Edit: they pulled it but I have a screenshot. I think this is happening. I think they'd be on Sunday if this is in fact the case. frankly, I'm thrilled since I resigned myself to not seeing them this go round

I am also going weekend 1. Never felt less prepared and am soliciting set suggestions. I did very little research this year as well. I have 4-6 must see acts per day and everything else is just gravy. I haven't been since 2016 so I'm looking forward to checking out new tents like the Sonora and I imagine I'll spend a decent amount of time in Despacio. The Sonora ruled last year and is so much more impressive than it's initial incarnation, though it got pretty overrun during peak sun since it's air conditioned, dark and has a bar. Like they setup a full on rock club in the middle of the fields.
Looking forward to spending a lot of time in Despacio as well. Kind of freeing to not feel too committed to a strict schedule.

Amex is offering a “fast lane” for merch during select times. Doubt it will be that fast though. Hopefully they improved the merch line situation in general, because it was such a disaster last year.
Anyone know if they still do the campground past merch clear out on Thursday evening? I might wander over to the grounds for that.

Map is very similar to last year (12 peaks VIP may be a bit bigger? Hard to tell). Sonora taking the place of "The Arctic" tent -- an upgrade from their placement during the LCD year, but still requires some intention to find. The Record Store being just about as far from the entrance as possible is also pretty funny, just a bit more time to melt that vinyl on the walk back.
