Bradley Beal gamble by Phoenix feels kind of dumb. With the new cap rules they'll have zero room for any flexibility in adding depth, and all those guys are at least somewhat injury prone Oh no in two years they won't be able to add a 3rd string vet big who just got bought out. They just got an awesome player for nothing. |

They just got an awesome player for nothing. Have you read anything about the new CBA? It's very restrictive if you are over the second apron and they are locked into it for a while. It was made to punish super teams like this. And they literally have only five players under contract right now and won't have any room to sign anyone else above a league minimum, can't even use an MLE. And KD and Beal are known to be a bit injury prone. They have 3 of the most talented guys in the league sure but the lack of depth is going to hurt Cap management is a thing in the NBA believe it or not. I get why they did it but it is a gamble! They might be able to scrape together some ring chasing vets to give them some semblance of depth and that'll help, but their second units are going to get absolutely thrashed We'll see but it feels like a new owner just taking huge swings for the sake of it without thinking it through |

The draft is one of my favorite nights of the year and I'm bummed we don't have a pick tomorrow.
I feel like there's a world where we send out DeMar and end up with John Collins and #15 or something.
