i like this qualification. "history tells us a super popular metal act can headline two years in a row but it won't happen" Technically Korn didn't headline two years in a row. They got bumped up to headliner from sub after not putting out any new music or growing in popularity. trying to imagine a world where korn grows in popularity in 2018 ...damn it's pretty close to the hell we're currently in. |

Rise Against should do a Revolutions Pre Minute set for its 15th anniversary because that would be the only way anyone would get excited for Rise Against in the year 2018.

Last summer, a guy on the brown line was loudly and terribly singing Rise Against songs. Between each song he gave a little speech about how much the band means to him and how their songs have the power to bring everybody together. Probably the cringiest thing I've ever seen in my life. |

Last year they announced dates as well, although it's probably safe to assume 9/14-9/16.

I don't know how reputable my "source" is, but I heard last year that Adams/Medill Park was a likely landing spot if Riot Fest had to move from Douglas Park
