Goose I could see for sure. I feel like Goose is trying to play the big non jam fests kind of like Billy is so that probably happens

I'd be surprised by Phish just because Lolla has historically shied away from booking headliners with built-in fanbases, j-hope notwithstanding. Lady Gaga in 2010 was the exception (Lady Gaga in 2022 is completely mainstream however).
You know what, screw it, give me Katy Perry.
Would the j-hope thing be considered a success enough for them to do that again? I feel like k-pop specifically could probably move more tickets of people only coming for them than most other built-in fanbase acts. Feels like a smart move for moving tickets. Maybe do it on Thursday I don't see a jam band headliner happening.

Gotta say, I'm really excited about all these comments. My streak of not attending this festival looks to be in good shape.

Phish might be the only band where the economics make sense for them to flagrantly violate whatever's left of the radius clause. I feel like people would not be mad about them playing Lolla Thursday then doing a Friday-Sunday stint at Alpine. That being said, Goose should be big enough to headline within an album or two and probably makes more sense demographically than Phish.

I'm on board if you can get John Deacon out of retirement. Scratch that. I'm on board regardless.

I'm gonna say what might be the dumbest thing i've ever said on this message board I'm expecting Phish to headline sacred rose if it does well enough to come back for year 3 or 4

I've seen them there so it may not be all that crazy of a prediction.

They almost never play in late-August since they take a few weeks off before the Dick's run Labor Day weekend, though they did play Lock'n one year.
I think TAB is way more likely to play Sacred Rose assuming the fest survives.

That I could see, if they continue with the same sized headliners.
