You guys are weird. I would like post here to note that Rihanna's Savage X Fenty line is pretty damn fantastic at a great price point. I've been really impressed with design, quality and fit. Got my first Stitch Fix - they sent me a badass shirt and a VERY blue hoodie that I'll likely keep. They also sent me lime green pants that fit great but I can't figure out what I'd pair them with. Hoping they can send me the same pants in another color.
Basically it's worth trying out.

thebosma scoots I just got my third StitchFix after a friend recommended it to me. I've only kept one or two things per box, but I've been impressed with the style and quality. I've had difficulty finding the right size for things - seems like I'm in between two sizes for their house brand. I did, however, get a pair of jeans and a pair of pants that fit well which was a minor miracle. I think everything is seriously overpriced, though. I really don't like paying full retail for clothing.

The only real bummer is pricing, which is why I pick one or maaaaayybe two things per box. Still, having a few nice pieces for your wardrobe is worth it.

Trunk Club was somehow more overpriced, so Stich Fix has been a pleasant surprise. I felt like the Trunk Club stylists ignored the pricing feedback provided and would throw in 2-3 absurdly overpriced items per box.

I also think of things as $20 off if I’m only getting one item since they take the styling fee out of it. I obviously know that I’ve already paid the $20 but it’s still helpful for whatever reason

Oh, I totally agree. The psychology of the "styling fee" is so obvious, but it totally fucking works even though I'm completely aware of it.
How often do you all get your boxes? I've been doing every two months, but I've been considering making it more frequent.

Never thought I’d post in here, but here goes:
As some of you know, I drink a lot and therefore am kinda (definitely) fat/overweight. As such, I am down to go only 2 pairs of jeans that I haven’t ripped holes in the crotchular region (they were all 3-5 years old so my weight isn’t the only factor, but still. Clearly I need at least one pair (probably two but my budget is 1 for now). Couple questions:
1. Are there any good non-Levi’s options out there? Willing to spend for a solid pair(s) but don’t wanna break the bank
2. More importantly, should I buy my current size (36 if it matters) and bet on myself to hit my weight goal this summer, or play it safe and level up? I feel comfortable waist wise in my two pairs, but I certainly can’t do a slim size anymore
Nobody ever taught me to fashion as a guy and my girlfriend is, well, a girl, so here we are

Bonobos jeans are nice and not super expensive.
Or you can go the raw denim route and break in a pair of jeans over time, but some of the sizing can be weird.

I like Lucky and AG and those aren't crazy expensive. You can get some great deals on jeans at Nordstrom Rack if you look over them to make sure they aren't there because there's clearly something wrong with them.

will second lucky. They make nice jeans. Though if you’re looking for an interim pair I typically get Old Navy jeans so I can grab a few of them. They have a bit of give/growing room too
I would stick with the waist size that’s comfortable now, personally.

With stores like Saks Off 5th and Nord Rack there are a lot of options to get quality jeans at a reasonable price. Most of those stores you can get $200+ list price jeans for under $100.
Yeah guys don't @ me that you don't need $200 jeans but if you're going to wear them multiple times a week it's a worthwhile investment.
I see the posts all the time in the vinyl thread about how people needed to buy the special edition blue Mitski 6" the day it comes out so I know that the funds are there. You can invest in better jeans.
