1)their merch is uniformly terrible
2) their fans are the worst dressed people I've ever seen

one of my favorite bands but 1)their merch is uniformly terrible 2) their fans are the worst dressed people I've ever seen They have the worst women's merch of any band I can think of, not to mention they are under the misapprehension that their female fans are primarily teen nymphs and not middle aged moms with 3 kids. |

Looking for some new blazers or suit jackets now that I'm being sent out to more conferences. Any recommendations for affordable while still fashionable options? I'd prefer to not just do blue/black/tan and jazz it up a bit.
Place I was walking by yesterday looked nice and I made a note to check out their website when I got back home. Every jacket was well over $1k.

Big caveat with suit supply is that their lower price range items are good value but the more expensive you get with them the better off you are waiting for a sale from a better designer. Their online customer service is also notoriously bad but as long as you’re working with a local tailor you should be set.
J crew very good, highly rec. I will say I have a couple nicer pieces from Men’s Wearhouse including a custom suit that I really like, if you’re going big box store mode

Sweet, I'll head over to J Crew and try on some jackets to figure out the best fit. A friend had recommended the Ludlow line, so it's good to see some additional recs.

ludlow line has insanely narrow lapels and a fit that i think is kind of wildly played out; if you're going crew mode i'd look at the kenmore stuff

any boarders worn mahabis slippers? i've been looking for a warm weather house slipper and these look pretty good, but a cork-topped insole seems peculiar to me even though many reviews say it feels good. or any other warm weather house slipper recommendations?
