Poured an absurd amount of coffee on myself this morning at work. Truly from my thigh down to my ankle was soaked. No idea how a standard sized coffee cup did all that.
Anyways I used my lunch to go buy a new pair of pants and drop the other off at the dry cleaner and as it turns out the new pants fit better and make my ass look incredible. All around next positive imo

The other day, I went to Dispensary 33, and since I was a little early for my time slot, I walked around the neighborhood. Saw that there was a Dearborn Denim store in the 'hood, so I decided to look around because I was in need of new jeans anyway.
I've always liked the idea of Dearborn Denim because the jeans are made here in Chicago. I just wasn't sure if I liked the details of them. I was sold as soon as I tried on their tailored fit in the 10oz stretch denim. I'm really, really picky about denim, and these jeans are super comfortable. Like, I can't believe how comfortable they are. The denim is soft and with the right amount of stretch. It was also pretty cool that all the legs on the jeans in store are unfinished and they hem them on the spot for you when you buy them.
Also, they only cost me $71.66 all in, which is quite a bit less than what I'm used to paying for jeans.

There's an instagram shop that takes vintage patagonia pieces and hand embroiders Vampire Weekend and Grateful Dead designs onto them. He does super limited releases of everything so it usually sells out pretty much instantly. E has seen me attempt to get these things before and never manage to. She secretly reached out to the guy who makes them and asked if he does commissions. As it turns out, he does and she commissioned this for me for our anniversary a couple weeks ago. Super cozy and imo it looks dope as hell  |

I mean, that's exactly it. Once I started trying out nice tees, I got hooked on them. I usually don't like to spend more than $35 or so on a plain tee (Buck Mason--they're awesome), but I've lost and continue to lose a shit ton of weight, and my birthday, which is in two weeks, will be spent in isolation.
So I'm fucking treating myself to some nice tees.

I usually don't like to spend more than $35 or so on a plain tee (Buck Mason--they're awesome), but I've lost and continue to lose a shit ton of weight, and my birthday, which is in two weeks, will be spent in isolation. Okay, so I ordered those tees yesterday. They're already here.
Also, I ordered them in a size medium anticipating that I'd be needing that size in a few weeks. I just wanted to order them now while they were on sale.
The medium already fits. This is awesome.

Is there such a thing as a longline t-shirt that is narrow and form-fitting around the chest and shoulders, but wider and looser at the hem? Like a t-shirt that fits like a tunic top. I would just buy tunic tops except I want something with a crew neck, not a scoop or boat or deep v-neck, and I haven't been able to find any. (edit: or they have a split hem, which I hate) So basically what I want is the top half of this attached to the bottom half of this. Does this article of clothing exist because if it does I want them in every color.
Update: I may have figured it out. I believe my mystery garment is called a " swing fit" t-shirt. |
