I've seen Ratatat there, the Mountain Goats a few times, I know they had Sufjan for the Carrie and Lowell tour that I missed (  ). My parents met there, but thankfully, they both attended more due to their parents than personal passion for it. |

of the umpteen shows I saw this year, the six best shows were the ones that my better half attended with me, a yr after her liver transplant operation. Joe Bonamassa and his band, including Anton Fig and Reese Wynans Michelet Innocent Cielito Lindo SunFallen with Jim and Tanya Bubbles Brown and Washboard Ben; Lillie Mae Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul better half is attending los lobos w/o me tomorrow (girls night out). |

A Tribe Called Quest @ Red Rocks - This will go down as a top 5 all time show for me. Best Red Rocks crowd I've ever seen by a long shot.
Arcade Fire @ Pepsi Center - Front row, and it felt like more of greatest hits setlist than I initially expected.
