Did you see any shows in 2017 that just made you so full of joy that you have to post about it online? Not sure if there's a place for that amongst your peers? Well now you have that.
Run the Jewels shows from 2016 do not count.

I should clarify, this isn't a cumulative list. We won't be tallying it all up. Just make sure the show you wanna list actually occurred in 2017 and not in 2016. Concerts in 2016 where the band played a song on a 2017 album that had yet to be released do not count either.

Front row for Pissed Jeans at the Bottle is a good memory.
I really enjoyed every time I saw Arcade Fire.
Queens three times this year as well which were all good.
Reserving final judgement until next weekend is over.

Arcade Fire at Lollapalooza was a spiritual experience for me, though I think I posted about it closer to the fest. The setlist was really light on new material which was good, and they really only played tracks that I like from the new album anyways. It was a perfect closer to a good weekend for me.
I saw Jenny Lewis with Springtime Carnivore and some other band that I wasn't familiar with opening for her. She had members of both opening bands as a part of her band, as well as the Watson twins, which was announced well after buying the tickets so that we fucking cool. She opened with "Head Underwater" which is one of my favorite tracks of hers, so that was really cool as well. Did a lot of career spanning tracks as well as some from her upcoming album.
I saw a lot of shows this year, and most of them were pretty good. Even the ones that were sorta bad or iffy were weirdly enjoyable for me, i.e. Nelly at the Peoria riverfront over 4 hours late almost starting a riot, Liam Gallagher playing for 20 minutes and then pulling the most Liam Gallagher move ever and leaving, and being stupid drunk for Nick Jonas show at my university and me citing it as"the show of the fucking year".
Truly, I hope that 2018 brings just as many good shows, and hopefully meeting more of you! It's been fun getting to know the people from this board.

A Tribe Called Quest at Red Rocks was the best show I attended in 2017. After that finally seeing Priests was incredible.

One of my favorite nights of the year was pulling off 3 shows in one night
Metz and Tunde Olaniran at Logan Square Arts Fest -> Pains of Being Pure at Heart at LH -> Local Natives at Concord
And all of the sets were pretty good too

Springsteen on Broadway, easily (October 28 at Walter Kerr Theatre). Seeing him in such an intimate venue and hearing his unamplified voice was an absolute thrill. Beyond that, the narrative he told and the way he positioned his songs to support the story resonated at a profoundly fundamental level. More precisely, he was somehow able to present his stories in such a way that they felt like a reflection of my own life, even though he doesn't know me or the vast majority of the people who will see this show. Runners up (chronological order): - Wilco - March 21, Beacon Theatre
- Jason Isbell (Amanda Shires opening) - June 22, Beacon Theatre
- Ryan Adams - August 3, Vic Theatre
- Roger Waters - September 12, Barclays Center

Trying to weed through all of the shows I went to this year. I saw 32 live performances across 25 club/arena shows and 1 festival. That's gotta be some kind of a record for me.
