I went to that last year and the crowd was one of the most unbearable I’ve ever encountered. Everyone is just there to drink and even close to the stages it seemed like no one was paying attention to the artists. Never again.

It wasn't too bad in pre-covid years, I could easily find spots to watch and not be bugged by the drinkers. I'm guessing last year was probably more that it was the first post-covid one so people were making up for lost time |

when do we usually get do division and west fest lineups? It's taken them a while to get the Do Division lineup the last couple years I think, it was like early May maybe? I think West Fest was usually not too far behind that though |

do division lineup was out late april last year and daily schedules were out a couple weeks later. but i think west fest didn't announce a lineup until june last year?

I don't remember where I saw a mention of M People a couple of days ago, but Saturday pride fest headliner Heather Small is their lead singer, and it looks like the rest of the band doesn't ever tour the western hemisphere, and doesn't have a setlist newer than 2015,so that's something to consider.

Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest booked Freddy Jones Band. I suspect that's not much of a draw for the board (myself included) but it's the first time they've booked a band that plays original music for that fest in years. Dan Deacon, MSPAINT, Frankie Rose, the Dirty Nil... I don't mind that too much. Just need all of that to not be on Sunday
