cool of as street fest for having to pause a TikTok for the 2 seconds it shows the first 10 bands while a christian rap song is playing.
Built to Spill/Lido Pimienta/Speedy Ortiz/The Good Life/Billy Woods is a sick first few acts tho

square roots has now updated their website with the full lineup.
i don't think it's as good as last year's, but it's a 5-minute walk for me so i will likely be there at least two days.

Wish it wasn't the same weekend as West Fest, but I'll likely be there for a day or likely two, but I don't want to miss Nitzer Ebb at West Fest Saturday night.

it's not like it would be impossible for square roots to bring in the knitters in addition to, or in lieu of X, since the fest is put on by the old town school of FOLK music.

It's probably too short of notice to get a replacement headliner of the same size. They could probably book someone local like the Popes or Local H, assuming they don't have other commitments already. |

I don't usually care about DJs or EDM, but Chicago-raised DJ James Curd moved to South Australia a couple of years after he played perry's stage at lolla 2008, so his homecoming set at west fest Sunday is something I've prioritized attending, even tho he isn't the headliner that day.
