I’m in the St Louis airport for the first time and holy shit is it nice. From arriving at the airport to sitting at my gate was like 10 minutes and I don’t even have pre-check. What’s the worst airport everyone has flown in?

Gatwick.
My second night in Europe my plane left at 6 am but the train to get there left at 12:30 at the latest.
The main terminal area didn't open until like 5 so I slept on the ground in the hallway and had multiple police stop by me and have their dogs sniff me without saying anything.
More about the experience than the airport but oh well.

Worst is easily LaGuardia.
Berlin is basically an international version of KC's airport, so that's not great.

LGA is gross. I don't think I've flown through St. Louis but I like little airports like that. Milwaukee, Louisville.
So my college roommate reached out a couple months ago and said she'd be in town with her kids this weekend and asked if I wanted to meet up. I said sure, we don't keep in touch much but I see them every couple years. So I got her Christmas card last night and the pictures are just her and the kids, and the accompanying letter described in some detail how her husband had left in May. I am pretty shocked and recognize there probably isn't a great way to tell everyone, but dang Sharon, droppin bombs in the Christmas letter.

My wife has some family members that send two page updates every Christmas, and they are always super depressing. One just randomly mentioned that their son had lost a foot.

took our rescue dog we got in july to petsmart yesterday to get a pic w/santa. it was her first big outing since we got her and she liked sniffing dog butts until a big one tried to eat her. at least she didn't growl at santa and then pee on toys like one of our others did years ago.

One even made it look like a newspaper. It was, of course, named for their (only) kid and it was pages of crap about what fantastic things he did the past year. I am so glad you don't get any of the other spouse's relatives in a divorce. |
