I feel like the Jets got fleeced. A 2nd and a likely first, plus that pick swap, for a 39 year old who almost retired this year and they'll be lucky to get two good years out of is wild. Packers should have had next to no leverage and pulled off a heist

Defenses tend to be inconsistent from year to year, but the Jets have the personnel and the coaching to be a top five unit this season.
Breece Hall looked like a star before he tore his ACL. If his recovery allows him to play at or near full strength for at least half the season, that's a major plus.
I liked the receiver room better when they had Elijah Moore, but Garrett Wilson is positioned to explode even if he can get even league-average QB play from Rodgers.
Rodgers is a fucking tool, but that creep can roll, especially if he's enjoying support from an elite defense.
There are a lot of "ifs" at play, but I give credit to the Jets front office for putting the team in a position where there's a reasonable expectation for a deep playoff run if things go their way. For as well as they drafted last year, I think it's a smart move to mortgage some draft capital to go for it now while you've got Hall, G. Wilson and Sauce (among others). If they drafted a QB or tried to make it work with Wilson, 2023 would be a lost cause.
12-5: Losses to either KC or PHI at home, but not both. Losses to either DAL or NYG on the road, but not both. Split the season series with BUF and MIA. One other random loss to some team like ATL, DEN, NE, HOU or WAS.
