I'm merely hoping for people to please not immediately judge someone AS WELL AS for dude bros or whoever to not immediately disregard an accusation. 3) 11 different women coming forward with accusations is quite a bit different than one anonymous person 4) This is also really shitty logic. You're stating that because the OUTCOMES of cases, we should believe all of them up front? Rushing to judgement has had awful consequences in our past and unfortunately in this day and age, snap judgments are what people prefer. I understand it's not a popular opinion because not jumping in with immediate damnation makes you look like you support the accused person. That is not the case. I would much rather see us all put far more pressure on the institutions that continue to make it so difficult for justice to happen. If punishments were more swift and damaging, a lot of this shit would go away. It's by putting pressure on elected officials and God forbid putting more women in judge seats that will push society forward far more than rushing to judgement on social media platforms. |
