I've been listening to more jazz at home and have spent the most time with Sarah Vaughn and Dexter Gordon. <4 Dexter Gordon. I mostly listen to Our Man in Paris and Ballads. Which of his records have you been listening to the most? I don't have any Sarah Vaughn in my rotation, so I'd appreciate a recommendation or two for her as well. |

For Dexter Gordon I've mostly been listening to Sophisticated Giant and Gettin' Around. I'll check out the two you mentioned as well. I got my dad tickets to see a Chicago Jazz Orchestra tribute to him in March and pretty excited.
For Sarah Vaughan I really love the "Live at Laren Jazz Festival 1975" set. Otherwise I go with "The Essential Sarah Vaughan" collection from 1992.
