I keep forgetting Do Division is this weekend
Makaya McCraven/Pile/Mikal Cronin seems like a good run. Maybe I'll get lucky and stumble into that Meat Puppets show too

If the weather corporates I’m planning on going to Do-Division from Varsity on and then head to Cronin at The Bottle

IGOR live was fucking amazing. Spoilers because setlist he started off doing igor only shit and it was amazing. Very much felt like a moment. Then after like 4 tracks he went to older stuff (YONKERS!!!!) and then more Igor songs near the end. I really wish he would've done all of Igor and then older shit for like the last 25 mins, would have been goat.

doing spoilers for a bad tv show that nonetheless people are obsessed about makes more sense as a thing to be mad about than doing spoilers for a rap set at a music festival but is neither here nor there fart

Wasn't a spoiler tho, just basically saying the episode ends on a cliffhanger, shocking, I know.
We have a setliet thread to discuss sets and songs without spoilers, I figures since this was outside of that I'd include spoilers. My bad?

Neader, is Mitski still doing the table/chair thing on stage? Thinking I might not have to run to the opposite side of the park for that at Lolla since I just saw her do that in april

russian circles were great as always. pretty standard setlist outside of the one new single that rips.
void of sabbath was a hoot. p straightforward sabbath cover band but the female lead singer has got amazing vocals and the two guitarists had a pretty cool setup with alternating solos and such.
rezn makes good doom music and had a good crowd for 5 pm on a friday so there's that
dodivision wasnt super packed which was nice. cant imagine it's busy at all today with the shit weather.

Yeah I gave up my hopes of going today after the second round of thunderstorms. Think I’m just hanging out tonight which is good cause I got mookie drunk and was out until like 2am last night
Johnny jewel kicked a couple of creepy dudes out of park west last night 3 songs into the set. Park west as a venue sucks but chromatics were good and if they read the board please play a venue that is good next time

Tinley held the doors for Sandler until 7:45 (they were supposed to open at 6:30) due to the storms, so when we arrived there were literally thousands of people lined up waiting to get in. These lines were moving at a snails pace, but thankfully Live Nation and T-Mobile made some sort of corporate marketing deal, and I was able to use the "fast pass" lane because I am a T-Mobile customer. They pushed the show back to 9pm (instead of 8), at which point Rob Schneider came out and did about 20 minutes of terrible stand up. Sandler did a mix of new material, along with pretty much everything from the Netflix special, and a piano ballad version of "Red Hooded Sweatshirt". He may have done another throwback, but we left after he did the Farley tribute (we could hear "Growing Old With You" as we walked back to the car). I enjoyed the set way more than I was expecting to, Adam Sandler still knows how to make the people laugh. I'm glad I went, and even more happy that I got to take Mrs. Pale Hose to something she actually wanted to see. Tinley is still the worst, fuck that place.

Ariana Grande put on an extremely good show at the UC tonight. I was prepared for it to be not great but everything was spectacular. Vocal runs for dayyyyssss.
I spent an undisclosed amount of money on a sweatshirt in the month of June because I am the worlds easiest mark.

Rolling Blackouts were great fun, the opening band, RVG, were worth checking out too.
Apparently Free Nationals played Martyrs with Thundercat last night?
