Figured this needs a thread considering the annual interest level.
Just looked at last year's schedule with the 3 stages. Really hate all the overlap. Didn't someone say it's gonna be four stages again this year?

IDG why only 4 stages if it's back in Central Park. Hopefully to make room for more of those glorious portos.

even tho im happy with coachella and will probably love psycho, yeah im real happy with how many acts on here i actively love and know most of their discography. should be a good repeat experience of 2016. also didnt realize that central park is actually closer to midtown, where we stayed last time, and was fantastic. so that's actually a plus.
grabbing my layaway ticket tonight. got the playlist ready for anyone who needs it.

And to be honest, it's the best way to fly since you don't need to worry about anyone forcing you to check your bag at the gate.
And frankly, it's a music festival. What do you need to bring besides like 2 pairs of shorts and 3 tank tops? Anything that can't fit into your backpack doesn't really need to make the trip.

conversely, it's $30 extra for me to be able to bring a few extras in case it storms and also i can buy merch and vinyl now which was a hindering factor last time. and im probably not spending as much time at the fest this time based on the lineup being thinner. but i mean, fuck me running right |

I bought a sweatshirt and a two tees at Riot Fest and still had enough room in my backpack going home. I don't usually buy vinyl at fests though, so I see your point there.
You do you though. I wasn't trying to tell you what to do. Just sharing that it was a positive experience for me to travel that way, if you care about having that extra $30 for like 3 beers or whatever.
