Biggest news to me is that apparently Cults has blown tf up lately. I assume it's TikTok, like always. But multiple songs with 240+ million plays, including 12.3 million monthly listeners. Goddamn! Geez, I remember seeing them in the early afternoon in a tent at Coachella in 2011, hadn't released their debut yet, all we knew was 'Go Outside'. Which I remember as their big "hit" and figured it would still be their biggest song. Nope! Not even in their top 5 anymore. |

I’d only pay to see Friko and Kaitlin Butts. And I would take Mrs. Doso to see SZA. No surprise as the lineup has veered away from my taste for close to a decade now.
But if I somehow found myself at this fest on the right day, I would absolutely prioritize catching Killer Mike’s flootenanny.

Kaitlin Butts has already been mentioned but her, Tanner Usrey, and Treaty Oak Revival are all solid country undercard acts I'd recommend seeing if you're going to this thing

Some thoughts now that I've actually kinda looked at this thing:
There's 29 acts I'd like here so even if Thursday is a punt I'll probably still go, and I have tix to Cubs-Cards that night so I'm rooting for it to be a punt.
Tyler is RHCP now as far as headliners go for this thing. Pencil him in for 2027's Lolla too.
It's kind of hilarious they missed on Justice when they were right there and at Oshega so the only thing I can think of is they're a US fest exclusive for Coachella or something. Similarly, Paramore has gotta be playing Riot Fest right?
I think I'm finally going to see The Killers after all this time.
This fest is gonna do the Platinum and Premium GA or whatever special cattle herds, correct? What a joke. I hate these assholes why I am seriously considering giving them money again is beyond me.

Did a little sampling of the massive amounts of acts in the undercard that I didn't know and it's umm...not great. A few oddball choices that should be fun to see at this festival, but way too many acts that fit the definition of music that I aggressively dislike.

I listened to a few of the acts I had never heard music from before. Laufey is such a weird inclusion for this fest but I’m intrigued to see how that sets plays out if there’s no major conflict for me. She has a live album with the Icelandic orchestra so you could get a general feel as to what that set is gonna sound like. Conan Gray is extremely not my shit, Lizzy McAlpine is extremely not my shit. Reneé Rapp is not really for me for the most part but if E decides to come to the fest for a day we will for sure see her. Dominic Fike is probably not for me in the grand scheme of things. Sort of disturbed by how much I liked Whyte Fang which is an Alison Wonderland project that I thought was kinda vibey and sick, maybe my Perry’s set for the year.
I perused through the lineup and depending on how the days work out this could be a lot of fun for me. Not bad!

I’m at 35 acts I’d see pre research. Gonna wait until the day splits come out to think about buying any tickets but if I could see Skrillex, SZA and Tyler The Creator on separate days I’d definitely go the whole weekend. If not maybe just a day or two. Not a bad Lolla lineup though at all

I went last year, but only because a friend of ours offered to get our hotel room if we went with them. But if I could get at least 3 bands my wife and I want to see on the same day we might break down and do a single day. |
