I always feel a little bit bad talking shit about their operation, for how (not) big it is and what they manage to do in consistently pulling the best fest lineup of the year to Chicago.
But my god, is it hard to root for them.

LMAO. Is a child running this festival? Looks like they won't be offering refunds for people who bought after the move to Bridgeview.

big assumption that its a sales thing and not the city basically giving them the space for free because they bungled a shit ton of tax revenue and the hotels were pissed

But my god, is it hard to root for them. This. They get great lineups, and I'm sure some of that is due to their small operation, but it sure seems like they interact better with the bands than they do with fans and the neighborhoods where they set up the fest. It's wild to have a fest bounce around this much.

Also anyone who previously requested a refund can buy their ticket back at the original price they paid. Nothing sells in Bridgeview.

I guess... This is so fucked up, man.. It's literally a month away. This is the latest in the game I can ever remember a big festival switching venues.

Funny thing is that it appears they are setting up shuttle service from Midway to Douglass Park now.

I feel like anyone who wants to go to this thing at this point already has a ticket but what do I know Isn't there usually a bunch of people on this board that hold out for reduced price secondary market tickets or freebies?

Depending on what you want to/choose to believe: in addition to the sales thing (which was bad), word seems to be Seatgeek could not physically hold everything Riot Fest was trying to do. I find that last part preposterous but it's what I'm hearing and this is a moment for this board so....

I bought early bird last year and the MCR year-years but yeah usually waiting for cheap or free tix is my move

I find that last part preposterous but it's what I'm hearing and this is a moment for this board so.... It sounds like there is mutual interest in working out a long term deal to stay in Douglass Park, provided the festival survives beyond this year, so hopefully that means we don't have to deal with this suburbs shit again.

If I can get deluxe tickets for 20% off like I think this is saying I can I have nothing to complain about on this. Just read the fine print and it's capped at $100 for both parties involved. So at current prices it would still be over $900 for a 3 day deluxe
