Saw Shutter Island yesterday on 35mm. It is for sure goofy (I think the twist is fun fwiw) but stylistically it's some of the best work Marty's ever done and Leo really cooks in it. Even though it's among the shortest films he's made in the last 20 years, I do think it's a bit long for what it is. A 4 star movie imo.
Last Temptation of Christ is a 5 star movie. No notes
