Let's revive that thread and broaden it to all kinds of guilty pleasures (not just music)

Starting with music though...

I used to be ashamed but I've moved past it. I know it's not a good movie but I also don't think it's a bad movie and I also love ABBA so

Does Aerosmith count? I'm not really ashamed but I assume they don't have much love around these parts.

I'll back u on Aerosmith. I had a Met Club membership back in the day instead of Aero Force One, but that's just because I could only afford one.

We had a life size Joe Perry cardboard cutout in our garage for years.

+1 for both Aerosmith and ABBA

Oh this is where we come to talk about Lil Pump huh? There's no guilt here. He dropped out of Harvard to save the rap game. He's got it all.

It's a great place if you love 50 page menus.

What can I say? I live not far from Michigan Avenue, and it's an easy and reliable place for a decent club sandwich when I'm out seeing a movie or shopping.

I mean I eat at shitty chains occasionally as well. We live literally right next door to a Chilis and while IHOP isn't amazing or anything it is definitely inoffensive. I assume everyone on this board isn't always dining on fresh mussels and artisanal pastrami sandwiches unless you are in which case you're missing out on some acceptable mediocrity.

Cheesecake Factory. Come at me, folks. The Cheesecake Factory rules. I appreciate a restaurant whose business model relies on awkward suburban high school graduation dinners for children of divorce.

Cheesecake Factory sucks. Anyplace that has 500+ items on their menu definitely means 480 pd that is microwaved.
As for my guilty pleasures...? I'm, cobras are amazing and fuck anyone who thinks otherwise.

I know, I know, boneless wings aren't wings, but I will never turn down Caribbean jerk or thai curry ones from BWW.

I hate the “boneless wings are chicken nuggets” argument because I’m like yeah I fuckin like those too

Wingstop > Buffalo Wild Wings
It's the sauces.

I've never eaten at a BWW in my life. I used to love it as a kid and I honestly can't tell if they've gotten drastically worse or if they were always bad and I didn't care as a child. Popeye's has these ghost pepper wings that are so much better anyway.

Buffalo Wings and Rings is my favorite albeit they're not too universal yet.
But why eat wings when you can have hot chicken?

Popeye's has these ghost pepper wings that are so much better anyway. My buddy dragged me to a BWW in the suburbs of Chicago once. It smelled awful so I just drank beer and had him drive my car. I'm happy with that decision. I've legit just never had wings that I'm super impressed with, though. So that's just me.

Honestly BWW was kind of our drinking joint in my hometown for a little while because we had hardly any bars and they had a deal where after 10 PM every beer they had on tap was $3 for a 23 oz glass. that led to me eating a lot of the boneless wings (i like the boneless better at BWW specifically ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) which i guess is how they got me because their wings are fucking expensive

Buffalo Wings and Rings is my favorite albeit they're not too universal yet. But why eat wings when you can have hot chicken? Outside of Tennessee, every hot chicken meal I've ever had has been hit or miss. Even Roost in Chicago has been quite bad a couple times.

Hot chicken is popping up left and right on menus in Denver/Boulder. I don't really trust that it's going to be all that great, and I don't want to spend $15 to find out.
