There's a place called Rooster's that's on like every corner in Columbus and they have my favorite chain wings, very large and meaty with good sauce variety. Thurman Cafe (a Columbus landmark thanks to Man V Food) is known for its gratuitous cheeseburgers, but their wings are better imo... They give you the drummie and the jointy part still connected and call it a single wing.
I feel like wings can only be a guilty pleasure food. They're pretty disgusting little grubby saucy bone foods and I somehow end up talking about them on this board wayyyy more than I ever do in real life.

When it comes to regular wings, rather than buffalo wings, my faves here in Chicago are Harold's and Crisp.

Crisp is really good. I miss being able to walk over and grab some great hangover food.

My idea of a perfect meal is to just throw a bunch of stuff on top of rice and mix it in a bowl.

I think it’s just Xam who considers bread a condiment. I’m all about blue cheese.

bww and hooters and whatnot are fine chain restaurant wings but nothing special and definitely overpriced. but if you're not in a city that has better spots then what can ya do.
the wing stop in WP is easily the grossest chicken anything ive ever had tho

I went to hooter's one time and by far the worst wings i've ever had. i hate the type of sauce they had where it's almost like chunky.

I think I would gain 100 pounds in a year if I lived in Tennessee.

I think I would gain 100 pounds in a year if I lived in Tennessee. it's been great but terrible. i weirdly enough have found like a threshold weight in that it feels like if i get to a certain amount no matter what i eat i stay there. too bad it's not a good number. but down 3 pounds in the past week so ayyyy

I hate the “boneless wings are chicken nuggets” argument because I’m like yeah I fuckin like those too Team chicken nuggets (though I suspect I'm in minority here)

Bleu cheese for wings but ranch for hot chicken, they're very different foods.
Of course I'd be more than content slathering aioli on anything.

Guys aioli just means sauce. Literally anything is an aioli but most commonly it’s just mayonnaise and garlic that sits in a fridge overnight. Just dip everything you love in mayonnaise

Just dip everything you love in mayonnaise you'll understand after you spend a weekend dealing with whatever shenanigans xam, irving and i invent in the moment.

I don't think I have any guilty pleasures, but this thread is bringing up a bunch of things I truly hate: - Musicals
- Bad chain restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, BWW, etc.)
- Mayonnaise
Keep 'em coming!

An ideal date with teekoh seems to be a performance of Phantom of the Opera performed at a Cheesecake Factory

Musicals are hit or miss for me. I just treat it like any other genre or medium - there's gonna be some good stuff and a lot of bad stuff.
I agree with you about chain restaurants, though. I love fast food but mediocre dine-in chains always make me feel like I'm being ripped off somehow.

I think Love Actually qualifies as a guilty pleasure. I end up watching it every holiday because Mrs. DoSo likes it, but it's basically a bunch of one-dimensional people objectifying other one-dimensional people and selling it as a collection of inspiring love stories. Kind of depressing, actually.

I recall it being well-reviewed when it came out, and I think its popularity has only increased over time. I guess I have a different definition of guilty pleasure. It'd be a guilty pleasure if someone said they really like watching Glitter or To Justin From Kelly.

what reality tv does everyone watch?
mostly when i do it's just whatever is on hgtv or food network, but my fiance has gotten me sucked into a few bravo shows. particularly, we've been watching vanderpump rules which is an absolutely insane group of absolutely terrible people who do and say extremely stupid things to their significant others and friends. it's great.
