Corrine Bailey Rae is playing millennium park on August 8th -- it's on her website, but not yet on the city of Chicago's website. Do312 just put up the list of Millennium Park dates and confirmed this. Madison McFeerin is opening a show August 5th there too |

Considering X/Big Star are playing Fitzgeralds the same weekend and he has no other dates scheduled, Prob a good chance that Jon Spencer is playing square roots on either Saturday or sunday too.

i think dark matter is having its free anniv party that weekend again...at least i assume free. they said deets this week. went to this last weekend, weird vibes this year. it was in the dark matter warehouse, which was loud and hot as hell, and you couldn't take your beers outside. tolerable enough for a couple beers but i miss the chicago and western fest. |
