Kirk Cousins (and his agent) is the best businessman in NFL history.

Kirk Cousins (and his agent) is the best businessman in NFL history. What are they even doing down in Atlanta lol I guess Justin Fields is just gonna…be on this team…

Kirk Cousins is going to make Bijan, Pitts and London all live up to their potential. Probably won’t get Atlanta very far in the playoffs, but those dudes are (finally) going to be great in fantasy.

What are they even doing down in Atlanta lol I guess Justin Fields is just gonna…be on this team… I figured LV and NE were still in play for Fields but I guess Minshew and AOC are going to battle it out to start for the Raiders? I really thought some NFL team would be desperate enough to roll the dice with Fields, but it’s seeming unlikely now. However, if they hold onto him into the season, there’s a good chance a team will be willing to trade for him when their starter goes down. Just keep him on the bench and keep him healthy, I suppose…

Oh and I forgot Jacoby Brissett signed with NE. He’s good enough to be at least an average starter, if not above average. If there’s another landing spot for Fields right now, I don’t know where it is.

It seems like Poles might have overplayed his hand if he wanted to trade Fields. Obv a lot of off-season to go, but I don't think any of the teams signing QB today are going to pony up a substantial draft pick package at this point.

Bears are trading for Keenan Allen? We have two legit WRs? Huh?

The Vikings traded with Houston to snag another round 1 pick. Those jerks have some skullduggery afoot.

my fave thing lately is when pro teams' social media doesn't explicitly say they got rid of a player, just a "thank you, darnell mooney." and then i gotta go look it up.

If the Bears wanted an outstanding possession receiver, they should have been aggressive about going after Diontae. Hard to get excited about 32 y/o Keenan.

I'm kind of excited about it. :shrugs:
I kind of hope a good WR falls into their laps at pick 9 and this is a one year thing, but I applaud the use of a 4th round draft pick to get a guy like this.

Also, I’ll be surprised if Keenan plays more than half the games, but stranger things have happened. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Didn't the Steelers just trade for Russell Wilson?

Didn't the Steelers just trade for Russell Wilson? I think they basically got Wilson for free, and only a 6th round pick for Fields. This is nuts

Yeah I’m not surprised at the trade but I figured at least 2 picks were coming back for fields

bears had close to zero leverage. But it still blows.

bears had close to zero leverage. But it still blows. Only because Poles overplayed his hand. I'm sure there were better offers before free agency started. Giving up a 4th for Allen looks even worse now.

I think Bears fans were overestimating the return for Fields.

Yeah, but you traded two of those picks for Sweat and Allen, which is pretty ok

ESPN said this morning that the Bears had a better offer from another team with an established starter but chose to trade him to the Steelers to give him a better shot at continuing his development.
