Probably the best Hail Mary play I’ve seen in a while. Bears OC needs to go.

In theory, they’d have a shot to eke into the playoffs as a wild card if they were to go 5-4 or better the rest of the way. But the schedule looks pretty daunting. Weeks 12-16 (MIN x2, DET x2, SF) could very easily be an 0-5 stretch.
If it’s not over now, it will be soon. Plz hire a serious coaching staff.

Lions had no business winning that game with Goff having 5 turnovers but i'll take it. 8-1!!

This is just kicking the can down the road and not solving anything.

I actually thought he ran some great stuff early in the season. But Caleb overthrew everybody by 5+ yards, making big gains impossible.

This is just kicking the can down the road and not solving anything. It's basically admitting they fucked up the first year of Caleb's development

I’ve seen some evidence from Orlovsky and JD clips that Waldron’s offensive scheme with the Bears was lacking. His Seahawks offense last year was dreadful including shameful use of JSN (I think his aDOT was less than 2.0?) Good riddance. But fancypants is right, it won’t make much difference this season especially with their schedule the rest of the way. Fire Coach Makeover next (probably not until the end of the season) and PLEASE hire someone from the McVey or Shanahan tree who knows how to design an effective offense. I would really be encouraged if they had the balls to hire someone who didn’t come in guns blazin’ with this “Bears Football” horseshit (i.e., we are going to establish the run and win with defense).

This is probably the only move that was realistic. The Bears don't fire anyone during the season, and it's not like they have a decent in-house option to take over for Eberflus right now. Hopefully the playcaller change sparks something - it sure looked like the primary two options Waldron was giving Caleb were throw to someone behind the line of scrimmage or wait for something to develop 25 yards downfield.
